Bird and foraging walk – Biodiversity Awareness Day
As part of Biodiversity Awareness Day organised by University of St Andrews students, we’re running a joint bird watching and foraging walk along the lovely, peaceful Lade Braes. We’ll meander along the river and through the woods, ending at East Sands if time allows.
We might catch glimpses of dipper or even the sparklingly bright flash of a kingfisher, as well as possible summer migrants. At this time of year there are also lots of intriguing plants, buds and blossom that can be foraged for soups, teas and even made into syrups and cakes!
All welcome, however please book your spot as places are limited. See the button on the top right of the page.
Bring binoculars if you have them; we will supply a few too!
