Lino-Printing & Embroidery Workshop
Come and learn about the lino-printing process and get creative using beautiful marine-themed patches to get your wardrobe ready for the summer.
The workshop includes a demonstration of the lino-printing process and advice on where to source equipment if you would like to have a go yourself + 2 lino-printed patches (per person) and additional fabric to create your own patches.
For inspiration, look no further than Mya’s online gallery. Mya will bring a selection of printed t-shirts and cards if you fancy buying any, as well.
Emily will also be coming to share her embroidery skills – have you ever tried to revamp and customize your clothes with embroidery? Ever tried to turn a tear/ hole or a mark/stain into something beautiful with a few simple stitches (or a patch!)?
Bring clothes or bags you would like to decorate, revamp, mend and/or personalize – the aim is to get creative with what you already have. Patches and embroidery are fantastically easy and creative for doing this.
£8 per adult. The money goes directly to Mya to cover the cost of printing the patches for the workshop. All other materials provided by Transition. Card and cash payment taken at the event.
