Sow a wildflower meadow – Castlecliffe – SUSTAINABILITY WEEK

Come along this Sustainability Week and take part in creating a rich space for wildlife and people to enjoy.

We’re establishing a ribbon of native Scottish wildflowers and grasses which will help support pollinating insects as well as birds and small mammals such as bats and hedgehogs. It will bring colour and life to this greenspace. We’ve chosen perennial plants which will come back year after year – a sustainable choice.

Take part in sowing the wildflower seed and lightly raking this in. First flowers should appear this summer. Wear sturdy footwear and warm outdoor clothing. Refreshments and biscuits provided!
