St AndReuse Drop Ins
Come by the St AndReuse store at University Hall to donate, collect or volunteer. It doesn’t matter whether you are staff, student, local resident or tourist, the reuse is for you. Join our community of passionate people to tackle waste, save carbon, keep money in your pocket and build community. Open every Monday and Friday 12:30 – 2:30pm and the first Saturday of the month.
We have just about anything but our staples are – kitchenware (saucepans, crockery, glasses, cutlery etc), fluffy cushions and blankets, laundry baskets/ shower racks, kids toys and clothes, a huge range of adults shoes and clothes, stationery (folders, pens, notebooks), puzzles and games, electricals (adapters, cables), books, toiletries & make-up, cleaning products, and all kinds of bedding (duvets, duvet covers and sheets, pillows and pillow cases, mattress protectors). Previous unusual donations include things like fairy wings, a Nintendo Wii, a family size tent (sleeping 8-12), golf clubs, a dehumidifier, drum kit, blow up mattresses… the list goes on. You just never know what you’re going to find!
EVERYTHING IS FREE except adult clothes and shoes which are 5 for £5. The money then gets reinvested into Transition’s other activities and events, to keep them no or low cost.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for then come back in a couple of weeks because we get donations all the time so you never know what’s going to be available. And we accept donations on an ongoing basis – we’ll take anything except large furniture items. You can bring donations to Reuse or drop them off with our Reuse partners at the Eco Hub (40 Kinnessburn Road) who are open Monday – Friday. Alternatively, do get in touch and we’ll find a way to get hold of your unwanted loot!
We are located behind University Hall, off Kennedy Gardens. We’re not the easiest place to find so check out our exact location here. If you still can’t find us then pop into University Hall (buzz Reception) and they will direct you.
