Sustainable Fashion Extravaganza – SUSTAINABILITY WEEK

A showcase event open to everyone, of all that is sustainable fashion in and around St Andrews, kicking off with a 1pm Talk on the True Cost of Fast Fashion with the University’s Sarah Cook. Sarah used to work in fast fashion and travelled the world – her moving talk with shed light on the human cost of the industry.
There will also be a range of activities, displays and stalls to both fire your imagination and motivate you to make better choices, including a ‘cinema’ area to watch short films about fashion and waste.

- How Craftivism can effect change – a quieter kind of activism
- A visible mending demonstration and opportunity to learn
- Stamp and Lino Printing to revamp and personalize clothes and bags

- Clothes (Re)Design and Upcycling Display + Give Away of free materials for you to upcycle with
- ‘What is Your Style?’ workshop
