Guided Bat Walk
Join us for an evening saunter to discover the fascinating world of bats on our doorstep. We’ll bring along bat detectors which you’ll have a chance to try out, making echolocation audible to the human ear and bringing these nocturnal animals to life.
Meet on the lawn outside Andrew Melville Hall, North Haugh, St Andrews. We’ll begin with a short introduction and then head round North Haugh Pond and explore surrounding greenspaces. In total the event will take approximately 1.5 hours. If you have a torch or headtorch, do bring it along. Look forward to seeing you then!
BOOKING ESSENTIAL as places are limited. This is a University of St Andrews Orientation Week event aimed at students, but others are welcome subject to availability.
