Tree care at Sports Wood

Come along to help look after one of our young woodlands on campus. Planted in 2021, this new habitat is really flourishing and some trees are now above head height! We’ll be checking the tree protection, doing a spot of pruning and a little bit of weeding round the saplings.

Our practical conservation sessions are fun and fruitful – a chance to do something positive for our local environment in good company and fresh air. All helping hands greatly appreciated!

Drop in any time – you don’t need to stay for the full session. For later arrivals see What3Words location. Gloves and tools provided. Wear sturdy footwear and warm, outdoor clothing. There will be hot refreshments and biscuits.

Note: there is NO NEED TO REGISTER for this event; it’s a fault with our website.
