Transition UStA is recruiting a team of volunteers to survey all the Orchards in the East of Fife as part of the National Orchard Inventory. The project aims to map the location and condition of all the Orchards in our area and reconnect people with these great local assets as well as build local knowledge for the future. You don’t need to know your fruit tree’s but you do need to be organised and able to undertake a number of surveys. The benefits are that you will get to visit some lovely places, meet interesting growers and contribute to a fantastic conservation project.
