Overview
In Summer 2017 Transition University of St Andrews became incorporated.
Being a Community Interest Company (CIC) allows us to expand our growing number of projects that involve selling goods and services (Bike Rentals, The Tree, Skillshare & Toolshare, and the Green Film Festival).
Importantly, becoming incorporated protects all our wonderful volunteers and staff – who make these projects possible – involved in bike maintenance, food growing, and sharing their skills. The liability of each member is limited to £1.
The Transition St Andrews CIC is part of a much wider range of activities run for the benefit of the community and supports the aims of Transition University of St Andrews.
