A big shout out to Greener Kirkcaldy who will be leading on the exciting new, cross-sector partnership project, Climate Action Fife! The main partner organisations include Fife Council, Fife College and the Fife Communities Climate Action Network. Through already existing ties to these core partners, both Transition and the University of St Andrews will be active contributors to this innovative programme.

The project is the newest recipient of the National Lottery Community Fund’s new Climate Action Fund. The fund is set up to support communities all over the UK take local action on the climate crisis. In Fife, like many other supporting organisations, Transiton St Andrews, will be delivering a range of our own behaviour change activities, engagement events and climate communications. Through Climate Action Fife, our work will become part of a more cohesive and coherent network of partners to deliver the vision of a more climate-friendly and climate-just Fife. Through to March 2022, there will be something for everyone to get involved with.
