**PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW OPENING TIMES 12:00 – 13:30 (still on Mondays and Fridays)**

Come by to donate, collect or volunteer. It doesn’t matter whether you are staff, student, local resident, tourist or are just passing by, St AndReuse is for you. Join our community of passionate people to tackle waste, save carbon, keep money in your pocket and build community.

We have just about anything but our staples are – kitchenware (saucepans, crockery, glasses, cutlery etc), fluffy cushions and blankets, laundry baskets/ shower racks, kids toys and clothes, a huge range of adults shoes and clothes, stationery (folders, pens, notebooks), puzzles and games, electrical appliances, adapters and cables, books, toiletries & make-up, cleaning products, and all kinds of bedding (duvets, duvet covers and sheets, pillows and pillow cases, mattress protectors). Previous unusual donations include things like fairy wings, a Nintendo Wii, a family size tent (sleeping 8-12), golf clubs, a dehumidifier, drum kit, blow up mattresses… the list goes on. You just never know what you’re going to find!

EVERYTHING IS FREE except adult clothes and shoes which are 5 for £5. The money then gets reinvested into Transition’s other activities and events, to keep them no or low cost. If you can’t find what you’re looking for then come back in a couple of weeks because we get donations all the time so you never know what’s going to be available.

We are located behind University Hall, off Kennedy Gardens. We’re not the easiest place to find so check out our exact location here. If you still can’t find us then pop into University Hall (buzz Reception) and they will direct you.

DONATIONS

We work with a number of individuals, community groups, charities, local businesses and relevant departments within the University to allocate donated resources to those most in need. Your donations really help those who are struggling, and we appreciate your continued support. Donations can be made directly to Reuse when we are open, or to our partner organisation St Andrews Environmental Network at the Eco Hub (40 Kinnessburn Road). They are open Monday – Friday, 9:30 – 5pm (except Thursdays, 1:30 – 5pm). Unfortunately, we can no longer accept donations of cleaning products, toiletries or cosmetics.
