What is it?
Communities from Crail to St Andrews are working to connect up through a 11 mile shared path. This is a part of the wider East Neuk 50, linking Kirkcaldy to Dundee via a single coastal shared path.
The path will offer a friendly, safer commute via bike or foot between Crail and St Andrews. Not to forget the many places to stay and visit along the way too. From the Fairmont Hotel to Cambo to the many Bed and Breakfasts, all linked up via the path.
Funding for this project is provided by the Sustrans Communities Links programme.
The proposed route for 2019 can be seen below. Please not the land owner negotiations are ongoing. The route may change.
How can I get involved?
We are always looking for people to join the project steering group. Since 2017 it has grown with members of local council(s), businesses and plenty of interested locals joining in.
The steering group meets on a quarterly basis! These meetings are held across St Andrews, Crail and plenty of places inbetween. If you would like to stay in touch, support, join the steering group or comment about the project please fill in this form for regular updates
