Mycorrhizae Episode 4: Transition Christmas Dinner

Each year at Christmas, we host an event to celebrate all the amazing folk that have contributed to Transition’s various projects and activities over the past year. And what better way to do this than with a potluck of soothing, delightful homemade foods!

The Transition community here in St Andrews is diverse and dynamic. From the spriteful vibrant energy of the ever changing student base to the solid backbone and wisdom provided by our local community, Transition is an eclectic, passionate and kind bunch. To acknowledge and show appreciation, celebration is key.

As a core principle of the Transition Network, we require celebration (as well as reflection and rest) “to balance the times when we’re busily getting things done”. Celebration is needed to grow trusting and collaborative relationships. By coming together we can feel that oh-so important sense of belonging and community. By celebrating we can feel valued.

With the Mycorrhizae film series, we have skipped ahead a few episodes to get back up to date. If you want to see episodes 2 & 3, head over to the Transition St Andrews youtube channel.
