Transition Open Forum
Tuesday, 6 November, 17:30 – 19:30
St Mary’s Quad, Divinity Lecture Theatre 1
This month’s Transition Open Forum is going to be really interesting as we will be asking how research and practice at the University can inform Transition activities across St Andrews. We have already seen some excellent examples where student projects have provided the evidence needed to shape policy and direct future work in food waste and energy. So if you are a student looking for a research topic or a staff member who has an ideas for a practical dissertation topic we would like to welcome you to this event where we be:
- Exploring research dissertation topics related to sustainability action across the University, town and beyond
- Identifying research opportunities for staff at this or other institutions
- Discussing some of the existing research on Transition and related activities
- Encouraging reflexivity in relation to the links between practice, research and teaching/learning
The Open Forum is open to students, staff and interested community members. Light refreshments will be available. If you are interested in researching sustainability aspects, please come along! If you have ideas for dissertation projects, please send them to at rehema.white@st-andrews.ac.uk
All welcome
