Wildsoc’s Green Week Beach Clean
Come along to the beach by the aquarium at 1:30 on Sunday to do your bit to help keep one of St Andrews’ beautiful beaches litter free! Make sure to wrap up warm just in case, as we all know how temperamental St Andrews weather can be. We will provide gloves and litter pickers as well as bin bags.

“What is this Transition thing anyway?”
Free screening of the film ‘In Transition 2:0′ , and discussion. The film shows communities printing their own money, growing food everywhere, localising their economies and setting up community power stations. It’s an idea that has gone viral, a social experiment that is about responding to uncertain times with solutions and optimism. Following the film, there will be a short introduction to Transition University of St Andrews, and the Transition activities taking place here involving students, staff, and local residents.

Introduction to Mindfulness meditation
Come along and learn what mindfulness meditation involves and how this is helping many people improve their wellbeing and reduce stress in their lives.
