St Gregory’s quad is a lovely sheltered spot, perfect for enjoying the sunshine and a great place to grow some easy salads and vegetables.

St Gregory's plantersDuring Green Week last month, we worked with the St Andrews Fellowship and St Gregory’s quad residents to make some raised bed planters from disused scaffolding boards and pallets.  We came up with a design that would maximise the amount of timber we had, whilst also providing the residents with somewhere to sit.  A lick of paint and the planters are ready to be filled with compost and planted with lettuce, peas and herbs – watch this space!
