This one day a week post will engage students, staff and local residents in attending and delivering skillshares events aimed at reducing waste, tackling consumption and reducing carbon emissions. It will support shared economy projects such as Transitions Toolshare and St And Re-use projects. The post holder will create promotional material, maintain contacts, develop and deliver workshops whilst encouraging volunteers to assist in the delivery of the programme. They will look to enable volunteers to deliver skillshares in the form training, support and guidance as well as rewards and recognition as they deserve. The post holder will also embed carbon literacy and practical action to tackle climate crisis within the programme and deliver Climate Literacy sessions such as Climate Know How or Carbon Café’s.
