Here is an exciting short term (25 hours per week) post at the University working with Transition and the Environment Team.

The post will lead on creating Urban Meadows for Pollinators’ in and around St Andrews. The project will work with the University Grounds Team, Fife Coast and Countryside Trust, Fife Council and the St Andrews Botanic Garden as well community groups to create a network of species rich grassland and woodland areas along a green corridor running from St Andrews to Guardbridge, Fife. This transformation of large areas of parks, open spaces and shared paths will be accompanied with community engagement and practical conservation volunteering opportunities to ensure the communities using these spaces are connected to the space and understand the value and process for maintaining these habitat
